there is hardly any natural snow im afraid (just got back) and current reports indicate clear skies. choose your runs carefully and you will have a good time. its a tiny resort even if it was completely open. if the bulgarians actually switched on all the snow cannons then the situation may improve slightly but unfortunately despite what they say they are not. well the odd one. when they do you can tell as conditions do improve the next day.

to make your holiday more enjoyable do not take your own gear as it will get destroyed by the many rocks (pebble to football size) etc that are on the upper to mid level runs. ive got a nice repair bill. oh and get to the gondola early and save a long wait to get up the mountain.

a little heads up their bank notes they stick together so check you are only giving them then right money, dont be afraid to ask for your change as they will try to get away with not giving it by accident of-course. if you want to buy anything in town shop around i needed to buy some new bindings the same bindings were 200 lev in one shop and 435 lev in another. there is not much shopping and apre ski is limited despite what they say

heads up on the russians i dont think they've ever heard of piste Etiquette give them a wide berth! mind you some of them were really friendly.
i still had a good hol but would only ever go back if the snow fall was better
