Does any one know any reason. does hunter have better equipment and hnece higher price or becasuse borosport is much bigger and can do better prices. thanks for comparison,
hunters have better equipment but theres about 30 places that rent around the resort,, take a stroll around and choose the place that offers the best deal and quality...
Hi. thanks for ur reply. Will you be able to suggest any other competitors as i only see borsport, hunters. thanks. Also, for begineer like me will we still need advance ? equipment from hunters or borsport equoipment be be as good for our skill level. thanks
many dont advertise... there are simply loads of hire places dotted about... as a novice though you might not know what your looking for.. i reckon most people on here used borosport when first in borovets, some their gear is a bit crap some say it will do for first timers.. see what other peoples opinions are..

I'm not so sure that Hunters are expensive. The borosports equipment is genrally quite poor but good enough for beginers and intermediates in so much as the skiis. The boots and the fitting will be the main problem from there. The cheapest will be your tour company if you have one but there are plenty of other places as stated. Good equipment can be found at the Rossignol shop under the Ela hotel but you get what you pay for and he is more expensive but no lessons there. There are others ...

There are others places like Snowmasters and Universe who come recomended but i've never used them so have no 1st hand experience.
Apart from the day my snowboard went out without me (someone lifted it thinking it was a hire board! It came back unharmed) I've not heard a bad thing said about Hunters ... on the other hand I've heard loads of complaints about Borosports.
A lot of this of course is to do with the fact that the majority of people going to Borovets use Borosports through their tour operators, and someone who has had a bad experience is 10 times more likely to write about it online than someone who has ...

The last time I hired, I got a brilliant snowboard and boots from Borosports but the people I was out there with who were skiing got some really dodgy gear that needed changing the next day. Here's a guide I wrote to address some problems you might get http://bulgariaboarding.blogspot.com/p/first-day-what-to-expect.html
To a certain extent you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay a wee bit more for a quiet personal service, with time to try on boots and all the right questions being asked for binding settings, rather than the melee and the gondola or in the Rila.
hi have been to borovets for the last 5 years and have used hunters every time great staff great instructors very frendley and no ques picking up your ski equiptment would recomend hunters every time
Not much difference.if you save fifty bucks go for the cheapest.bigger means more power more instructors more flexibility and of course more ski pairs to choose from big and small.cheap and nasty to top quality.
