I left my home in Sofia, several days prior to Christmas in order to enjoy the festive season in Stoikite. On returning to Sofia today, my house was minus 7 degrees inside, i quickly put on the electric cental heating and lit the log fire, within minutes there was water gushing everywhere and i heard the loadest bang ever, ok you guessed it, i have burst pipes 5 freezing children, we can't feel our hands, no water. Doug has gone to get some heaters to try and thaw the house out. we are all tucked up in my bed to try and keep warm, our family is closer than ever lol. moral of the story, leave a little heat on before you leave or a tap running. its damn cold here, you can keep your winters and your snow Bulgaria as i'm not finding it pretty at the moment ok moan over
