anyone stayed at ice angels yet if so what is it like . any tips would be helpful .we are going 18th feb. 2nd time boro visitors. taking some friends with us this time.thanks

Hinever stayed there, but it looks nice from the outside. Its a brand new hotel, completed for this season. And its location is right on the slopes!

The place was very good indeed, too new to have the best atmosphere in the bar though!
Location cannot be beaten, about 30 seconds walk and you are on the main 4 man chair lift.
This was my 5th year in the resort and I have stayed in a different hotel each time – this is the best.
Room way above average for the resort – they still like their dark wood though!
Slight issue with hot water, only warm at peak times, so get in there before 07:30 or between 16:00 ...

Very comfy beds and extra pillows in room too.
2 downsides though no big deal! – (i) Only 3 channels on TV, two of them just repeat shows later on and (ii) no safety deposit boxes yet although they are in the luggage room downstairs waiting to be distributed to the rooms.
There is one other thing which did miff me a little – when you check in you get a discount card for 20% off lunch and dinner in their own restaurant – it would seem the staff do not know it exists as they refused to honour the discount!
The English of the staff is below par for the resort, particularly considering it is 80% populated by British people.
So, a great hotel with OK staff in a fantastic location – I am sure you will have a great time.
