ice rink

is there a ice rink in bansko,just a random quistion realy as wondering if i should take me ice skates with me i fly out on the 3rd feb for a week staying at the strathzite hotel

Yes there is an icerink in town - not sure exactly where or size etc - indoor one

There was an icerink there last year near the center of the town. as you head down Pirin street take a left before you hit the first square and it is up there on your left. It is however temperature dependent. It is in the open air nd appears to be in someones back yard where they poured water down to create an ice sheet.It was melting when we tried to go there last year and we were told to come back later that evening when they were hoping that it would have refrozen over.

It's tiny I don't think i would take your ice skates, maybe just go on for half an hour and hire theirs, probably makes more sense.
