iceberg hotel

hi first time in borovets cuming on the 27th of jan was wondering if anyone has stayed at the iceberg hotel and how far it is from rila slopes any info would be useful thanks

Welcome Karl,

Unsure where Iceberg Hotel is,I know the Ice Angel which is an excellent choice close to Rila slopes.

The Iceberg is down the hill from the gondola. I recon it can't be more than 4-5 mins walk from the gondola and therefore maybe 7-8 from Rila. I have not stayed there but the building looks lovely.

cheers del boy can,t wait to get there nine adults and two kids in our group all begineers so we should have a good laugh hope we have a bit more snow

It's a new hotel, really nice location, went there for a beer last year and it was OK. Del Boy has his timings spot on, Gondalla is very close.

I went to the night club in the IceBerg hotel when I was in Borovets in 2011. Wasn't many tourists in the club, mainly Bulgarians. Tourists didn't seem to know about it at the time, don't know if that has changed...Impressive venue but a bit intimidating. Sure it'll be less so now they've got British guests going. The hotel looked good.

And yes, it's about 5 mins walk to the Gondola and 8 mins to Rila.
