hi all
was looking to book boro for the 1st march and looking to stay at the iglika palace, Being to pamps the past 3 yrs and getting a bit fed up with the que for the bus back to hotel after a days skiing i thought the iglika would be magic cause its only walking distance to the lifts. my afterthought was "if i can walk to the lifts during the day does that mean its miles away from the nightlife"
so my question to u all is
How far away are the bars from the iglika and does it mean getting taxi's at night
Think of the slopes leading right up to the front of the Rila hotel, then all around the hotel is the night life including a night club under the rila. Str8 behind the rila is the Iglika, its about a 3 minute walk to the bars at the bottom of the slopes and about 3to5 minutes walk to the gondala. The Igkila is in a perfect location. its not at the bottom of the slopes so that you hear all of the noise but is only a couple of minutes away from the night life.
Hi
I'm thinking of staying at the iglika hotel can anyone shed any light on the facilities, food accommodation and so on. i have 2 kids 11 and 7 and it's the first time skiing.
cheers fellas bitten the bullet and booked this morning. 1st march boro here we come. Lock up your daughters and wives see u all then. Thanks again for the advice
just came back from boro we stayed at the iglika over new year had a great time no complaints with the hotel and food plenty of it the hotel is ideally situated for everything and within ten minutes you can have your skis on and be on the slopes in front of the rila the accomadation was very clean with superior rooms having a tv phone minibar and bath and shower my only thing to watch out for is to pay for your drinks in the bar as you go and watch your change
WE STAYED AT THE IGLIKA LAST MARCH, MAKE SURE YOU GET SUPERIOR ROOMS AS THESE ARE MUCH LARGER AND HAVE A BATH. THEY WERE REALLY SPACIOUS,VERY WARM AND CLEAN, THE FOOD WAS GOOD SOME DAYS AND NOT OTHERS, BUT I AM A FUSSY EATER. IGLIKA PALACE IS IN A PERFECT LOCATION. THIS YEAR WERE STAYING AT THE IGLIKA VILLAS JUST NEXT DOOR AS I PREFER TO GO SELF CATERING AND EAT OUT. HOPE THIS HELPS.
