we have the best start ot the season in 25+ years, we have over 2m of snow at the top in Boro , we have cold temps, we have the best skiing i can remember anywhere, and we still get dumb questions about the snow, will it still be there when i go, come on get a grip, what is it with the brits, always looking for doom gloom. im dumbfounded by the sheer stupidity of it all
most people dont have a clue if they havent set foot in a ski resort before what its all about...the idea of snow not melting after a day is a pretty alien notion....
you grumpy old bugger...whats up with ya?? didnt you get up the mountain today??
you have to understand, we get one day of summer if your ill tough luck and a day of snow which has now gone and the rest of the year its around 16 degrees and dull with blasts of rain, we just cant get to grips with anything lasting, if we were in the sahra we would take a brolly and wait for the cloud
Fraser,
I totally agree with you, why can't these fools just be happy with the snow they have got this year...
Now, next year is a different matter, we are coming out in half term 2009 (dont know what the dates are yet ) but what will the snow be like then ? How much snow will be at the top in Boro ? How much will a pint cost then ? Will my other half still have to go into skischool (in your opinion) ? These are much more burning issues and i find myself not ...

For info, we had about 2 foot of snow at new year in Borovets, but by yesterday the lower slopes were hard, icy and rocky in places. not really sure why but they just can't seem to keep the snow on the slopes these days.
Runs at the very top were awsome though!
