Last year when we went to Pamps we hired equipment, this year we have our own. Does anybody know where you store boards and boots and how much it costs? I am assuming it will be the same this year in that you can't keep your stuff in you hotel.
It should not cost you anything to keep your gear at the hotel, but sometimes you can pay to leave you gear in a shop near the gondola so you don't have to carry it.
Hi,
I think some places have a ski storage room, check with where you are staying. I just carried my boots back to the hotel and I saw people getting on the bus with boards, so they must have kept them with them too.
hi snowprincess. If the snowshack have room, they will let you leave your board for free, but it just depends how busy they are. The ski shop next door (I cannot remember what it is called) last season charged about 20 leva a week.
I just left my board in my room and carried it on the bus everyday. It was not that much hassle. Some hotels do have storage areas too.
The main depot will allow you to store your board there. We booked it through our tour operator two years ago. I think it cost about a tenner for the week.
It saves dragging the board onto the always crowded bus in the morning.
Don't expect to store your board at the Snowshack. The guys are the most helpful people in the world but they have so very little space they can hardly store their own gear.
See Pete who is next door. He will store it for you at a very reasonable cost.
Thanks, I didn't think you were allowed to store stuff in the hotel because there was a sign on the door saying no ski boots, and I know a girl in our group stored her board somewhere around the snow shack. It would be easier than dragging it back and forwards each day.
