insurance claim

Has anybody on here had to make a travel insurance claim? If so how long did it take? I have had to make a claim, for a approx £700 I haven't heard a thing yet, when I phoned yesterday all they said was " my claim is in the queue, it hasn't been assesed yet." I posted my claim middle of January.

something wrong. most companies have a code of practice check it out 4 weeks most small claims should be settled check it out.
