it is vital that u recieve a letter from your the head of ski school stating that the piste were closed.if u r with a tour operator your rep should be able to get this for you.
if u dont get this letter u will find it difficult to claim from the insurance when u return home.

my insurance will only pay £20 for no ski-ing a day and £10 travel expenses to ski somewhere else. this doesnt cover the costs of lift pass and ski hire etc. but it helps.
If the worst happens (touch wood it doesnt) would £10 towards travel get me somewhere where i could ski?? all booked to ski in pamps in jan 10th
£10 travel will get you from the Ski lift by taxi to the games room at the perelik whereby you can ski on the arcade ski machine.
As with most insurance policies for piste closures they are like chocolate fireguards. Another factor is that if there is any skiing anywhere in the resort, a nursery slope for example, this negates resort closure. Read the small print then use it to wipe your ****
