hello to all, i am getting very excited about boarding now can't wait yay.it suddenly occured to me that i will need insurance, does anyone know a good company to do this with, Although i am english and uk passport etc i am living in france at the moment so can i still be covered if i go through an english one.

We got our family insured on www.insureandgo.com we got an annual policy including winter sports and it came in loads cheaper than through the travel agent.
Might be worth a look.

"Go Travel Insurance" just covered me for a week in Bulgaria skiing for £18.86. (I'm 23, Female, UK resident) Their cover is really good and a very competitive price, they were recommended a few weeks back in the Telegraph Money supplement as they cover more than just on-piste skiing.
Apparently Travel Agent cover is rubbish as it's not classified as proper insurance so if you have problems with a claim then they're not answerable to the same regulations as normal insurers, and often ...
