"It's right at the back behind the old coffee maker. You remember you took the plug off it when the fuse blew in the hoover." I told her but she just looked at me blankly, those cold dark eyes somehow communicating as clearly as the written word that she'd had enough and I was to be on my way. As I turned to leave the tea bag I had clutched in my right hand seemed to have become very heavy. The sweat from my hand had soaked in to it and as i looked down my horror turned to relief as the realisation came to me that this was my only chance. I lifted the tea bag up to my mouth and squeezed hard. Two salty drops was all the bag would yield but I was happy. Through that wall of salt I could clearly sense that taste of home. "PG tips" I whispered to my self as I wandered back to my room. "You look happy. Did they have a kettle then?" my girlfriend asked. "No" I said.
Stayed there last week and there's NO kettle in the rooms.
There's free HOT water available in the Restaurant in the morning only. There's a small red lever / tap sort of hidden on the right hand side of smaller of the coffee machines which will dispense hot water.
They cover the machines up of a night so that they can sell you drinks.
