just back from bansko

Just got back this evening from Bansko. Went on 28th December.
Conditions then were desperate. It snowed on the second of Jan making half the runs open.
Since then warm days with bright sunshine and no clouds.
They are trying their best with the snow machines but its getting back to desperate again. Rocks and ice everywhere.
In Bansko they confidently predicted snow for last Friday, it never came, nor looked like coming.
A Bulgarian friend there told us that the Bulgarian tv ...

The place desperately needs snow.
Still, plenty of bars selling beer at 1.5 lev. Happy End now 5lev a beer.
