just got back from a aweek in borovets,snowed last saturday on arrival,then again yesterday(friday) stayed at samokov,on the whole very good,food a bit hit and miss,room good,good amenities,ski-doo safari worth a go,instructor danny excellent,very nice bloke,great with all the group,i didn't ski much but the kids loved it!! good selection of bars and clubs,franco's pizza very good,mama mia's good for steak or katy's,watch for overcharging in some bars,food more expensive up mountain,snide goods available and quite good,no duty free at plovdiv so buy bensons for £15 for 200 in resort,big problems with the water in hotel as we left today,no toilets etc,hope they sort that quickly as you will need hot baths at end of day,average beer price 4 lev(£1.30) good meal with drink,around £9 per head,great place for the money,will definately be going back,gondola ride to top of mountain spectacular (2369m) pretty much everything you will want is there, happy ski-ing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any questions just ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
