Stayed in the Edelweiss hotel, not bad for a two star heating was hit and miss, went to bed fully dressed one night then got an electric heater from then on from reception, food not exciting but edible. Bar prices reasonable, located a ten minute walk uphill or ten lev taxi ride from resort centre. Would stay in centre next time for convenience.
Dont go on the last day trip to Sofia as its pants, depressing run down wasteland on the way there - good dinner ...

Dont go on the last day trip to Sofia as its pants, depressing run down wasteland on the way there - good dinner included- expensive limited shopping once there. Better to get a day pass (35 lev) and ski/ board on the last day (wished we had!).
Overall opinion would go again if price was right, however would rather pay extra £100-150 to go somewhere like Pas or Risoul etc every day of the week. Any questions just ask.
Cheers

Well to be honest when we left yesterday it was snowing albeit not very hard but apparently all day, and it needed it. It was great at the top of gondola, but getting slushy on rest of mountain. So unless it has another heavy snowfall between now and when you go, you may have to ski at the top which is the best place to ski anyway, it should hold up there until you go. Hi Mate,
Well to be honest when we left yesterday it was snowing albeit not very hard but apparently all day, and it needed it. It was great at the top of gondola, but getting slushy on rest of mountain. So unless it has another heavy snowfall between now and when you go, you may have to ski at the top which is the best place to ski anyway, it should hold up there until you go. Dont worry though its a great friendly place to go, but dont rely on all this bumf thats everything is 'cheap' because it isnt. You have to pick and choose where to eat and drink.
