any1 heading out the snow is excellent at the top down to mid and just ok to the bottom.
however out of 6 days we could not get to the top of the mountain 2 days as the gondola was closed cause of wind and bad weather at the top.
i reported earlier that i loved borovets it was good but when i return to bulgaria next year i will go back to pamps for the following reasons.
the people in pamps much friendier

ski instruction in pamps much higher in borovets had 3 different instructors in the week via borosports. i would describe them all as mountain guides and not instructors.
and in my opinion the slopes in pamps r much more enjoyable.
however the hotel samokov in boro was fine, and the white magic bar opposite it was great

NO NO NO !!!!
Go to Italy instead - I've just got back from Cervinia, it was just as cheap as in Borovets, but the Skiing, the mountains the food the booze, everything was so much better than Borovets. I enjoyed Borovets in February but you cannot imagine how much better Italy was.
