just back from borovets

oh well thats skiing over for another year,just got back from boxing day till new year in the IGLKIKA palace,had a great time all 13 of us but their new year celebrating is a bit hairy(guns+fireworks etc)two years in borovets over the new year is enough(wiill go later next year) snow on lower slopes quickly going but up the mountain (yastrebets etc) still perfect,food and drink all very good,especially Joy pizza by the gondola and the karaoke bar by the main slope but avoid the angel bar ...

We agree with all that you wrote but want to add that Francos bar also does great food.We stayed in the Rila as you know but from our experience of visiting your hotel(Iglika) that this would be our choice next year as it seems a lot cozier and more friendly and from what you you told us the food seems to be better.We think that the Rila is probably too big and the bar waitresses are miserable!! Oh I nearly forgot to mention our ski instuctor-KIKO-we have had for 2 years running HE IS DA BEST!re: just back from borovets
Yes, everything said is very true. We consider this the best holiday we've ever had, thoroughly enjoyed it. The Iglika is a great hotel with friendly service and a warm atmosphere. We're already missing the snowy slopes and can't wait to book up for next year. Though as has already been mentioned we won't risk our lives at new year again but will wait until feb next year. We also feel the need to big up our main man Kiko the best ski instructor in Borovets!!!
