Just back from first time snowboarding in pamporovo - pics included

Don't mention the airport delays yesterday ! grrrrrr !!

Good points of the holiday:

Lots and lots of snow
Lovely friendly people
Snowboard instructor superb - ask for Rubin (Robbo) if you get the chance - patience of a saint and a top bloke too
Hotel - we stayed at the Shnezhanka - friendly staff, clean hotel, nice food - in fact didn't have any bad food anywhere at all - even burnt my tongue on the supposedly warm bulgarian food !
Cheap booze ! :-)
Organisation of getting boots and boards was excellent - boots were good quality and comfy , board was pretty decent too, shame about my snowboard skills !
Bus pickup from our hotel was faultless - every 10 minutes - it gets busy after 9am but theres one along soon if its full
Good nightlife, excellent bars etc


Bad points of the holiday:
erm... it gets a bit crowded on the green runs - go really early if you like some space
If you haven't booked yet, transfer from Sofia to Pamporovo is a bit of a trek so try to fly into Plovdiv

99% top holiday :-) definately gonna go back
