Bulgaria Ski discussion board

just got back today, this was my first skiing holiday and first time to BG. heard that the prices in BG were excellent and you could have a night out with about £30 including your meal. sorry but maybe that was true last year but far from it this year. we were also disappointed with the snow conditions but hey that's not the countries fault. found that in general that the resort was a bit dated in all aspects. I don't think i'll be rushing back to pamps. all in all we had a great hol but that was due to the people i was with & the great company we met there. all the Irish lads & ladies were great and there was loads of them.

any questions i will be happy to answer.

we stayed in hotel finlandia from 15- 22 march

the people in pamps and the hotel couldn't be more friendly & helpful. i saw some recent posts criticising the bulgarians for their attitude but we found them all great. if you treat people like shite they will reciprocate surely?

take pamps for what it is- cheap, cheerful and good VFM

we really enjoyed it. the finlandia (which doesn't get many mentions on here) is great for families- free kids places via balkan, sound facilities, lovely food, cheap beer and spacious rooms

we'd definitely go back but we don't expect magnificence, we're happy with great VFM and a good laugh

don't be put off by the pamps knockers- it has much to offer
