At last!
Someone with positive comments about dear old pamps
We invested here some time ago ( not been back for a while though )and
I was beginning to think pamps was the pits with all the reports about being ripped off etc.
Its not a new thing for us Brits to be conned and ripped off abroad, I have travelled all over and have been ripped off everywhere from Turkey to Jamaica sometimes you see it coming sometimes you dont so Bulgaria and pamps etc are nothing special on this point, part and parcel of travelling abroad I reckon.

Its not just bulgaria you have to be wary of being riped off in, we go to spain where we have an appartment we always check our bills as some resturants put the odd glass of wine on or a coke. Also had wrong change given and when questioned they just came up with the difference. In any tourist area you have to beware!!! think if they are doing 30 to 40 cover a night for 16 week, each table that walks out with 1 or 2 lev added to their bill it soon adds up.

My mum would never go back to my place because she was pick pocketed, we love it and return every year so far never had a probelm but we are always aware. Dont worry about it just make sure your not the riped off by checking your bill keeping personal belongings in a safe place, Most importantly ENJOY yourself!!!
