Just got back from bansko. 1st time there, prefer borovets. Can understand why environmentalist protesting with bomb scare. The place is like a building site, building in some cases ilegally on national parkland.

Stayed in the Lion and was a lovely hotel but food as is the case in most hotels providing half board awfullllll.

We are going to ski school
Would we be better staying in bed and going up the Gondola about 11 am or going early and tired and having breckie up there. If we go late will it affect ski groups?
