few quick points

talking to the resorts instructors and locals all the resorts have an equal amount of snow at the mo i think, poor season but pah! go anyway.

first one dont worry about anything u read here so many ppl have different experiences, i read this sight for weeks before i went and although little bits were right u realise most of it is all according to your own tastes! still nice to get an input!

boots n board hire for a week was about 50 quid. instruction for 3 intermediate boarders for 2 hours was 24 quid each and was a real help in boarding on tricky conditions.

beginners had 4 hours a day for 3 days for 120 quid.

use levs everywhere u go its easier and everyone takes them! unless uve got euros from an old holiday which any hotel will take or buy off you.

goggles in the snow and glasses in the sun, take both!

just got back from bansko on sunday.
we had a full day of snow night till night on the first day and it lasted us all week long.
by the end of the week the weather was really warm so lower levels were messy. youll see when u get there.
get a six day lift pass and go all the way as high as u can then use the blue runs, they are the most consistant 10 and 5 are good, the black run its just too bumpy and icey and so boarding it is hopeless.
DEFINATELY go early in the morning, its not as icey as busy or as warn down by everyone, be at the gondola for 8. then have a break at 11 till 12 then when everyone else goes to lunch at 12 start again. then have a break and a last run at 4. u can get on all the fresh tracks left by the ploughs for some really nice boarding!

it will look messy and it is icey but by going early ull get best results! hope that helps!

food is great almost everywhere so get out of the hotels. we ate great food and had 6 beers for a tenner!

your welcome!
have a good'n!!!
if u find a sony ericson w810i anywhere let me know!
another good tip, find yourself some red and white wrist bands, it was a national holiday last weekend and everyone wears them. amazing how the locals will buy beers for anyone wearing them!
