just got back from borovets stayed at the flora lol it was like faulty towers food was so bad and staff so rude lol but it was clean . skiing was great till thursday i hoping for snow for people going today as the rila side was not good but the top of the other side was not to bad

We stayed at the flora last week also, but think Liza is being a bit harsh.
Food was not the best but it was edible. The rooms (or at least ours) were very clean and really nice actually some of the best apartments i've stayed in and been across most of europe.
Found staff ok too, so maybe she bumped into the wrong person or something. Overall nice apartments, good location and if your staying here then make the Alpina your base - great bar, good food and drink reasonably priced. ...

Beers were 2.5 levs large beer (1.25 during happy hour).

yes we went in the alpina bar i did like it in there and amy the owner is lovely would deffo go there againre: just got back from borovets
bowlerc sorry you dont agree with me but i have to say i was in the hotel not the apartments so i cant comment on them , but the food was not good ( for me ) the breakfast was not so bad . as for the staff we didnt even get shown to our room lol we had a safe that was not even attached to any thing and had to pay 30 lev to use it . but like i said it was clean .re: just got back from borovets

Johnone,If you come out of the gongola, turn right up the hill, Alpina just on the left, opposite Flora hotel.
