just got back from borovets on the 13th march. what a brilliant place.
there was four of us in our group two skiing and two snowboarding. the first couple of days the conditions were good but as the day went on it got a bit icy in places. had a huge snow fall for two days and then the conditions were perfect. the last two days of our holiday it was foggy but we didnt care as the snow conditions were really excellent. there was so much powder to get into for snowboarding and the runs of the gondala were really good. the last two drag lifts when at the top were hard work for snowboarders as they like to throw you around a bit but when you made it to the top the views were amazing and so was going down the run.

I was snowboarding for the first time and it was really good. got in to a beginners snowboarding class and if you can try and get tommy as your instructor, you cant miss him he has a pink mohawk and he works in francos pizza. if you ever go into francos pizza he will all ways look after you.
Go to Katy's Steak House they had the best steaks in borovets and are very well priced. The Blue is another good place to go to for food but they brought each meal out when it was ready so someone is always waiting for there food.

A must place to go every night at 2230 is francos pizza it gets busy but it has a really good atmosphere.

the four of us had an excellent time on and off the slopes and i would recomend anyone to go to borovets. i will be going back next year without a doubt

I went the same time as well . First time skier . Found the experience awsome especially when we got on the red slopes . Another joint to visit is 101 cocktails just to watch the barman preparing it and karaoke bar was buzzing to. Best bit was the red run from the top to the bottom Gondola probably hard for boarders because the bottom bit was a bit cross country up and down . Was a bit of black run on a section but if you get the bottle its well worth it. How big were the measures of shots . Out my face at the presentation. See you there next year mate
