It's quite a nice hotel - food okay, and rooms basic.

To get to the gondola it's either a ten-fifteen minute walk, taxi, or the shuttle bus that drops you outside the Samakov.

If you know where the Lion is, it is next door to that.

Thanks for that. Ive never been to boro before, so dont know where Lion is. Do you remember whether it is particularly hot or cold at night in Kalina?

It's not too bad - I remeber waking up a couple of mornings feeling cold, but it was probably due to the "Bulgarian National Shots" leaving my system rather than the hotel conditions! Very Happy
