Anyone know whether there are kettles in the Perelik? Should we take our own tea?
I read that there is a supermarket nearby. True?
Any suggestions for where to get lunch on the hill?
Thanks in advance. Travelling this Saturday and will definitely ask about the downgrade as it has changed since we booked.
not a kettle in sight, take your own, though our room had a coffee maker and some proper coffee but I don't think this is standard.
supermarket 'alaska' across the road from mourgavets entrance, very near indeed.
all pretty much of a muchness for lunch on the slopes afaic, brothers bar consistently good, there's a few newish places. investigate. (I'm rubbish with names and even worse with describing places but I'm sure others will come up with favourite foody places )
There was no coffee machine in our room at the Perelik, must be the apartments. I took my own kettle and jar of coffee, I took the coffee with me to breakfast as the black coffee supplied in the urns was AWFUL!!!! I would recommend Alex's bar at the bottom for lunches, half the price of the places on the mountain. We always met at the bottom for lunch.
also take pg tips if you like english tea, there is nothing out there that taste remotely like PG tips - I even have to take PG Tips over for the Bulgarians
