dont want anyone else to get caught out like we have - HOPEFULLY staying at iglika again on 21st jan - mucking about on the internet yesterday and discovered from 1/1/2006 that bulgaria will not accept children on parents passports - they need their own photo one.it is costing us £70 per child and a long day for hubby at peterborough tomorrow! to hopefully get fast tracked in 1 week. dont get caught out if you have children on your passports or did everyone else know this?
Eh Deb. Dont know where you have been for the last few years. But this was brought in ages ago. All children now have to have there own passport. Nothing to do with Bulgaria plenty to do with Mr Blair.
not true!! only kids after1998 had to have their own passports! children already on parents passports before that date exempt until parents passport expires or children turn 16 - hence my 2 eldest have been travelling on my passport for past 8 years including bulgaria last year
have just got passports for my youngest two as one is going on a school trip before we go to borovets in feb. Lucky I got them their own if they couldn't travel to bulgaria on mine. I sent off applications on 31st Dec. and we got the new ones back on sat. 7th Jan - couldn't believe it was so quick (used the post office check and send service) Good luck in getting yours.
