lack of snow

We are leaving for Bansko this saturday and looking at the temperatures i am worried that skiing will not be possible, has anyone any ideas what else there is to do to keep the children happy!

Try the ice rink off Pirin Street or a trip to the bear sanctuary...

Bansko has loads of snow, I am sure that you will get good skiing.

Hopefully on the higher slopes it should be OK... we're in Bansko from 9-16 April so I hope so!

I think that Bansko will officially close around 15 April (Saturday) and then lift Shiligarnika to the Plato area (2200 - 2600m) will continue to operate until the conditions allow it. They did this last year after the 17 of April.

I think you will be fine, reading the reviews from people just returning there is still plenty, you might just find that you might not get down the ski road that's all right to the bottom. Don't worry you will be fine and have a great time and enjoy the nice temperatures, we had minus 20 and it was freezing!

Had some similar concerns, Heading out to Pamprovo on Sunday, got a wee bit of a scare when the temperatures shot up this week! From the snow coverage I would hope it will maintain for us!
