Hi Lisa

Balkan will meet you at airport and escort you to resort. You don't say what hotel you are staying in but they will tell you where to meet them Sunday morning. They will give you lift passes and vouchers for ski equipment and ski school (if booked) and tell you which depot to go to.

You will probably meet on Rila slope outside Rila Hotel to arrange ski groups. You won't need a photo for lift pass.

Make sure your boots feel comfortable, as much as boots ever can, don't rush, everything is very laid back in BG.

From the amount of snow at the moment, I'd suggest Cats or similar, I think the snow may be too deep for trainers Very Happy It's also very cold, so make sure you have thermals and good ski socks.

Any other questions, just ask and have a great time on all that lovely new snow Very Happy Very Happy

re: last minute questions!

hi Lisa, If you're staying in the Iglika, chances are you will meet your rep in the Rila Hotel lobby like I did although it was with a different tour operator.

re: last minute questions!

Iglika is behind the Rila Hotel so you will find things easily, hotel has had mainly good reviews this season.

Have you a list of places to go in the evenings Question I also suggest you change sterling in banks (in the Rila, Flora and Samokov hotels) or booths with a crown emblem only.

If you plan to use the swimming pool, then take flip flops.

Check prices of bars and restaurants before ordering and when you get the bill and be very careful if you go in the Buzz Bar.

It's snowing AGAIN so there will be lots of the soft stuff to fall on, so hopefully not too many bruises Very Happy Very Happy

Think you'll get much sleep tonight Question Very Happy

re: last minute questions!

Lisa, you will have excellent snow condition to ski...I would like to be there with you....I went there last week and it was icy at the bottom although it was alright at the top. It looks much like a ski resort now...you can actually see white thick snow on the street.

Don't worry too much, the balkan rep would lead you from the airport to the hotel. You will get an envelop which says everything u need to know. U don't have to get photo for lift pass.

Wellies would be a good idea for you as you can see how thick the snow is from the webcam.
