Going to Pamp late Feb but If Grothar the god of weather is having problems giving snow now, surely there must be no chance of any late feb ( excuse my ignorance but will it not be even milder) ?

Other years late feb as been fine. Late March then you would be pushing your luck.re: late feb
Not always the case. Had little snow about 10 years ago in January but very healthy cover 2 months later when i went back. The weather gurus need to advise on that one.re: late feb
The snow could come at any time, it only takes a day or two to change conditions dramatically. Don;t assume because conditions are poor now that they will remain so for another month.re: late feb
They are right u know-We had so much snow one night in march that everything stopped in pamps the next day-not often i have seen that happen!re: late feb
I've been in mid-March before and the snow was fabulous. It really is a case of wait and see. I've been skiing in Pamps for the last 10 years at varying times through the season and have always been able to ski with decent/excellent conditions. We're all in the same boat and we'll just have to start praying to the snow Gods. I'm ever the eternal optimist - it keeps me sane. We're due to go out on 27th January; fortunately for four weeks so hope to get some decent skiing in over that ...
