lessons in Bansko

Well, off to Bansko for Christmas for the 2nd time this year, here's hoping its a white one.

I did beginner group lessons last year, and spent the whole week doing the same thing over and over and over when I got it the first three times, could already snowplough when I got there, strangely remembered it from one half day skiing when I was 11 yearsold.

So this time I don't want to spend time standing around bored in group lessons, and would like to get a few private ones.

Anyone know how I can organise this in advance or should I just sort that out when I get there?

Private lessons will always improve your skiing far quicker than in group lessons. There are many ski schools in Bansko but most of them don't seem to take private bookings in advance. However I do know that Method ski school do take advance bookings.

re: lessons in Bansko

hi.
there is a ski shop opp the kemplinski hotel, has concrete steps leading to it , looks like a shed but inside the owners are great , we went skiing last feb during the half term holidays and a member of our group wanted a 1on1 lesson ,she said she had a great experience ,very friendly and very patient, also u can hire skis there and leave your skis over night, directions as your coming up the hill towards the gondola its on your left handside before the kemplinski and happy end club.
