levs ?

Hi all,
can i pick the brains of the regulars.......
should i take levs out with me ? or get them out there ?
are there cash machines in pamps and last but not least can you use a credit card in pamps, cheers in advance,

There are cash machines. Change a few levs before you go, just to have on landing and the first night.

Bring bank of england notes and you can change out there. Easily changed at hotel receptoins or some shops. Make sure the notes ( BOE) are in good order as ripped ones will not be accepted.

In regard sof exchange rates i have always found the rates out there to better ( or equally as good)

There are cash machines but you do get charged, best gettin some before you go, you can order them from the banks, pretty good rates

what about the credit cards ? i have been told that they dont accept them but i find that hard to believe in this day and age.

i personally don't trust using a credit card anywhere. Marks and Spencer do a great rate, but if you are with the NAtionwide you can withdraw your money from any ATM with no charge.

Most places/shops don't accept credit cards to pay for items they prefer the hard stuff but all cash machines accept them OK.

There is a cash machine conveniently located at the base of the Gondola in Borovets resort, rather strangely it doesnt ask for your P.I.N. until right at the end of the transaction.........this is a little concerning the first time you experience it but DONT PANIC all is in order and you are SAFE to use it.
