levs/Euros/Sterling

I took levs last year but I am sure most menus were in Euros? I certainly remember never having any probs exchanging sterling into levs in my hotel and getting a better rate than I got here. Just wondering whether it is worth taking euros though this year?

What is everyone else doing?

Just taking enough Levs to get us through the first day and then using cash cards again - found the best place was in the actual bank in the Rila...

They are still using levs and all menus are in levs (well they were last week anyway!) Dead right about the exchange rate though - don't change here - get it there - much better rate...but I would take sterling to change up.

re: levs/Euros/Sterling

The Euro offers a lower exchange rate than Sterling and Bulgaria will not be changing to the Euro until at least 2011.
