lift pass

I will be hiring a car in Sofia to drive to Borovets - will I be able to drive to the top of the mountain and do shuttle runs to save the family having to pay for lift passes?

re: lift pass

depends on weather the car has skis or not.

re: lift pass

You can drive by car to Hotel Jastrebez and your family can use these run down to the centre of Borovez, but jastrebez hotel is only on 1650m over sea level Borovez centre 1350m. So not a good idea.

re: lift pass

Is it easy to drive up the beginner runs? My car will not have skis as the rental company does not offer them as standard.

I do not ski so will be doing the shuttle driving - will I get radio reception so I can listen to music in the car?

I have European AA membership so if I get stuck on the pistes will they cover this or does the ski place help you to get the car unstuck?

re: lift pass

So the mountain rescue wrote that only the Markurdschik pistes are working and there are used drag lifts.
