do we need photos for lift passes? Bansko 11th Jan for first time. Praying for snow.

No. They will take a digital photo at the booth when you buy it.

Anything more than a one day, they take a photo. Lengthens the queue nicely. But if you've been before, they have your photo from last time.

Mat , do you live in Bansko ? I will be there for 3 months, I was last year, brilliant !!!! I ask because, inever had a problem with nightlife ???

I live in Sofia. Never had a problem with nightlife either - there just isn't that much of it

ah !!!!!!!!! there are 3 or 4 disco s. sure in the old town and full of Bulgarians, but that is why they are not expensive. Inever drink near the Gondala, there is still beer for 1.00 a bottle, Ive never had a problem with the locals or the reported wild dogs ?

they have name days every day, i always run into a party, imen den ?
