we're all going on an allocation on arrival deal tmrw (7th March) and so were unable to pre-book our lift passes. is it true that a six day lift pass will cost the best part of £120 Surprised

They have prices for there people and prices for us
My friend over there payed 22 lev per day about £ 8.00 per day

or find out if some one has broken something and are willing to let you have there pass at a reduced rate.

22 lev is for a half day pass, its 55 for day, bulgarians get a slightly cheaper rate, not much.
Call your company you are travelling with and beg, you will save 50 per person just on the pass.
