I really like the look of borovets. Am a learner boarder, went last year for a week. The drag lift thing is putting me off a bit, i didnt think they were suitable for boarders!?? Would be too scared to try just in case I hold up the que! Would be grateful for any opinions on this. Are the gondalas/chairlifts around the green/blues, and will I be ok??
Also, does anyone have an opinion on which would be the best 'learner' resort for a boarder??
There is a new 4 man chair up to the 6km blue / green so no hassle there - boarders can use button lifts though - seen many a boarder do so.
I've skied Borovets and Pamps - both as good as one another for beginners - depends if you a looking for a resort where the hotels are right by the slopes (Borovets) or where the hotels are in a separate area.
Drag lifts are ok for us boarders, just takes a little bottle to give it your first go, Don't worry about holding up the que, we all had to learn some time
p.s. Did Boro last year and didn't go on a single drag lift, had a wicked time
my 1st time in boro last year didnt use drags an got on fine, but have been to xscape 3 times in summer an theres really nothin to it. (loved boro that much goin back end of jan )
