lifts stop

taking a risk but its the best we can do due to dreaded work- booked to go to bulgaria first week in april . would prefer pamps but when do the lifts stop?looking for bansko and boro back ups just in case. thanks for any advice
skied pamps in jan only managed 4 days due to poor snow but love the place

Boro lifts will be working every day (weather permitting) until at least mid April. Balkan's last week is w/c 11th April. After that the lifts may only be working at weekends - depends on demand.

Borogirl, quick question.

I will be in Borovets for a couple of days in august, will any lifts be working then, for walks?

Not sure about every day, all week but definitely at weekends. They have guided tours all summer, so it could be worthwhile contacting one of these companies for more information. They also do horse trekking.

When I was in Pamps two years ago in the Summer. None of the lifts were working. The only way up then was to walk or drive up the green run. Don't know whether this has changed.

Friend of ours used to be a guide for bear spotting hikes in Boro in the summer but he hasn't done it for years. I have seen companies offering summer outdoor pursuits, guided tours etc on the internet, based in Borovets or Samokov. I'll have a look and see what I can find if you want or someone may have a name and contact they've used

No, he's too wiley for that He now has a couple of restaurants on the Black Sea in the summer. Used to be a ski director so knew the ropes and which trees to shin up
