Anyone been to the lion hotel bansko? Pics look good but u never know!re: lion hotel bansko?

Stayed there last year.Rooms very clean, food great,storage for skis & boots ok.
Free transport to gondala ojk but get in early. 5 mns walk to old town center.
all in all had a good stay, but next time in Bansko will stay a little closer t town.

Stayed in the Lion last year, was very dissapointed the rooms were nice, but the staff very rude and unhelpfull, the bar area had no atmospher, and the food was not good, and very limited if you didnt get there as soon as the restraunt opened once they had run out they were very slow on replacing and often run out completely. The water they sold you in the restraunt was in plastic bottles with THE SEAL BROKEN and quite expensive. I stayed in the perun the previous year and although the ...

They are opposite each other so distance wise no difference.
