Yes Rakia sounds right, i was trying to remember it myself but could only think of raikki?!Fire water is definitely an accurate description, I was v.v.v.v. drunk off it on New Years Eve
(bad hangover on slopes the next day though). We had it in a restaurant with our starters, it was in a thin green bottle and tasted like straight vodka!re: local fire water

All the local bars in the back street, we used to go Lions Bar rather good. But after it's rather strong and you may not be up for the slopes in the morning if you have to muchre: local fire water

Try the hot rakia called Graina rakia, best place to try Snack Bar Elit, near the gondola.Bring back the ghost if it is a bit colder in the mountains (-15°)..Even you can in the Snackbar homemade rakia- thats the best one...
