local lift passes and hotel Perun

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any restrictions on the local lift passes for Bansko?

Myself and 5 friends have just booked a pakage holiday for the 2nd week in Jan 07' (aka ... Booze ) and have booked the "learn to" board/ski pakages, but would like to make sure that the lift passes give access to the entire resort.

Also we are booked in at the hotel Perun, the pics all look good, but has anyone have any 1st hand experinece?

Any help would greatly appreciated ...

re: local lift passes and hotel Perun

Hi, A group of us have booked the Perun for then end of Jan, and I have been told that the lift passes allow you anywhere in the resort and are the same as the pass you would buy on it's own.

Although I've not been there yet, the feedback I have had on it is pretty good.

Chris h went to the perun hotel last year and wrote a very good report on it, the only negative seemed to be the location in relation to the town centre and the fact they didnt start breakfast until 8am although its sounds like the breakfasts were fantastic, a few other people had also mentioned the breakfast time, wether that will change this year or not I don,t know. but that would put me off staying there as I like to be on the slopes by about 8.30

I was there in 05. Really nice hotel. Rooms are nice. Kind of new travel lodge std in the UK. Pool facilities are fantastic. The out door pool is to die for. About a 10min walk into town so not too far out of the way. Very helpful staff.
I managed to get a feed and get first lifts most mornings.

All and all a great choice.

re: local lift passes and hotel Perun

If your staying at the Perun (very nice) make sure you eat in the round Mehana that is associated with it... excellent food even by Bansko standards (superb!)

They only do one type of lift pass so all is safe.
