Going to boro on 22nd feb should we change and go to bansko will the skiing be better, we only went last year for first time so we are not pros but however we do want to be able to ski

If you want to ski. Then find out where the snow is and go for it! I think if you go along the we will make the most of it you will regret it

Im trying to get a straight answer, people r saying theres no snow however everytine i look at webcams outside rila people are skiing so dont know what to dore:looking for a simple answer
The snow outside the Rila. Probably looks good but in fact its shocking. every time I have been you could have skied into the Rila hotel and then left and all of the way down through the shops and bars not that the locals appreciated it!It is ok if you are still at the very basic stages of skiing / boarding but for anyone that needs more than that I think the boredom of limited slopes that are overcrowded and covered in ice by 1pm will probably see you off.

Pamporovo probably has the best snow, and the best management also fantastic for beginers and good for intermediates as long as you don't want to ski all day, its a great resort.Simple

I think you'll be lucky to be able to change at this late date without costing you a fortune!! I agree with Moonhead, if you are able to, go where the best conditions are. Although there is some new snow fall forecast for Boro this week so keep your eye on the weather!!!! If you stick with Boro, I'll most likely see you in Bobbys on the 23rd when I arrive!! I'm guessing Borovets is going to be the worst for snow of the 3 resorts. I believe their snow making facilities is behind the other 2 (Although I've never been to Bansko).Presumably you've booked it all separate and not through a tour operator and that's why you can only change within Bulgaria? If not, maybe you should consider going to the Alps instead. I don't think you'll see the best of any Bulgarian resort this year.

Nicola, nobody can tell you where the best skiing will be on 22nd of Feb. You can see snow outside the Rila because there are snow cannons as there are on Yastrebetz the nos 2 run on that side will be open when you go there as the competition will have long gone. If you can't ski that well then you will probably be ok and with another week and a bit to go you could get more snow. I'm going Friday and I've been 13 times before, I have not cancelled but I am going to Bansko for one day in the ...

My wife and younger son will not be coming with me that day as they will have enough to ski on as they are intermediates. The rest of the time i'll make the best that I can but still plan to enjoy my holiday. This for the record is the worst that I've ever seen, you take your chances
