Will folk never tire of being doom and gloom mongers - it would appear not. As ever the fascination is to study snow reports and then.....worry!
I see mikey has been studying snow-forecast's website as I expect have many others. OK so it may rain but guess what - it may snow (now wouldn't that be amazing!) or it might be a tropical heatwave....!!!

Snow-forecast and other sites are reliable to some extent but I think the weather these days is so changeable it is difficult to say what will happen from one day to the next. Yes, freezing levels are to be taken into account i.e. rain and wellies in Bansko town will often mean a grand whiteout up top. I can't say much about Pamps as openly admit have not been there and have to say from what I have read in the past, as resorts go, it does seem to be the one suffering the most with snow conditions but all can change overnight. I for one used to be hooked on looking at snow conditions - is easy to get addicted to this but how sad to be depressed about a hol before you have even gone - a holiday should be just that - a holiday, make of it what you will and if things (snow or sun or whatever depending where you are going) are not quite as hoped for then just be glad to be away out of this doom and gloom country and make the best of it !
I could go on and on but won't. No point. Some on here seem determined to try and wind up others, depress others, whatever.
If it snows it snows and don't take all the forecast sites (or mikey's comments) as concrete!
PS. The positive of course is that if it rains then that means it has warmed up so all those that are concerned there will be no gas/no heating/no food/no electric/no ski lifts working in BG will at least be a little warmer....
