malina village borovets

Just arrived back from boro we were first time skiing and at resort. We stayed at the malina village.Chalets were excellent, heating was very hot, plenty of room for 6.Yes as previously said the water was not very constant, although we all managed to get showered etc.We did not find it a problem. We did receive drinking water and also to flush toilet when the water was off.We also were offered the use of there shower facilities. When the water did go off.Food was plenty but plain and hot.We went ...

Marg

I'm sorry to disagree with you but you cannot stay somewhere without basic items such as running water (hot or cold)

Yes i agree, but there was running water to a degree.there was also shower facilities on site when needed.we did manage, just like a lot of other people. we were there for the skiing not a first class holiday. When you are out all day and you have your meals at the restaurant. You dont need a lot of water.it is mainly to get washed or to flush the toilet.which as i said they did provide.luckly we do not live there and it was only for a week after all.making the best of a bad situation is ...

re: malina village borovets

I didn't realise you had to pay for a first class holiday to get running water. Monday night we had no water at all hot or cold. I love Borovets it was my third time there but I would avoid Malina Village in future at all costs.

After we moved to the Zodiac everyone in our party was much happier.

Think about it like this - how happy would you be if you were going the week after and you know there had been problems with the water already - would you just put up with it ?

Obviously ive hit a sore spot ,certainly didnt mean to .I wasnt saying you had know right to complain .And im pleased your hols went ok after that. But personally we could of put up with it for a week as we did.Theres not much point in making other people on this disscussion board worry about the water situation, when in fact there was water on the site to use.Even if you had to leave your chalet to use it.If the water supply freezes theres not a lot you can do about it ,but sit and wait it ...
