hey everyone, went skiing last year at the end of jan and the snow was rubbish... thinking of going later in the year around march to bovovets. has anyone been there at that time of year... whats the snow like??

Bad season all round last year Hannah. March is a good time to though as slopes are a bit quieter as long as you avoid easter and it is also a bit warmer. Borovets is nice and high so you should be ok but like all things in life nothing is for sure! Wink

hey folks, looking at heading foreastern europe for sum back country touring in march. any suggestions out there for where theres prime touring to be had???

kids arnt off over easter this year its the week after so I have been told, so might be worth looking at easter and avoiding begining of March.

yes i went this march and as we all know this was not a good season . but we did ski every day and it was not to bad
