markony hotel

Hi has anyone stayed at the Markony this season ?

Havent stayed in it but was drinking in it last week. Hasn't changed since we were there 2yrs ago, still has the lovely big log fire

Hi paula was trying to find out if there are any dogs at the back of the hotel went last year and they barked most of the night dont want to book for this year if they are still there

Only dog I saw was an alsatian puppy on the slopes, didnt hear any dogs barking either

Markony is an excellent base for your holiday. Slopes on your dorstep, the best apres ski bar in the resort (for a drink immediately after skiing) and the staff are brilliant.

One word of warning - there is a black dog there called Sherry but we call her Elvis as her lip is always curled when you try to stroke her. Leave her alone and she's fine, but if you try to make a fuss of her she will bite.

Have to agree with you PP about the hotel, I was going to book it but the tour operator was looking for £600 each, opted for the snezhanka instead £250 cheaper
