today the exchange rate is 2.74 levs to the pound GET ON LARGE! this is a really good rate commission FREE!!!!!

You can get 2.75 in the resorts commission free - best to take £'s + change what you need

Yeah, get it at the resort. You'll get a better rate and the locals make a bit on the side from it. Very Happy

Quick question. Bearing in mind I'm with my girl friend and not a bunch of my beer belly mates. How much would you say I should take? Would 120 pounds each be enough?

sorry to say stu if you're taking the girlfriend then you'll probably end up in the shops spending more than you would with the boys Crying

I know...my girlfriends coming with me and I'm expecting to be skint for a while (also I'll be with the boys having some beers as it's a big group)

i'm hopin £300 but it's my 1st time skiing for over 15 years so too be hoinest I have no idea
my mate has a nationwide account and is taking his card. hopefully there's cash machines. I'll put spare cash in his account and if i need it he'll withdraw it

spent 300 last year and had a right beano until she spotted diamond ring went up to £600 ,tried to leave her at home this year she was avin none of it.

I think £300 each is a good way to go. I went to Pamps last year with my nephew and we took £300 each. We bought are goggles at £40 each out there and had enough money left over for the duty free on the return. We ate out every night and at lunch time with plenty of drink. Take it in sterling then you can bring back anything you dont spend.
