No standing about freezing if you are in beginners class, sunbathing at lunchtime, more reason to need a beer- but you can still ...

You will have a great time Joe - trust me, i'm a doctor(not really, just a nurse!!). Last year Bansko had big dump just after we left,2nd week in March. We still had fantastic skiing- slopes were fantastic at 9am up top, slushy by 2pm. We waited and stopped for lunch then. Then retired to hotel for R+R, then went out for more R+R!! re: melting snow

It does seem to have been a great season, this is a cheeky second snowboard holiday of the year and after -10oC and perfect powder all week in Jan, we are looking forward to wearing less thermals and getting panda eye suntans. Very Happy

re: melting snow

Julie, when I'm not at the sitting on my arse on the top of the mountain, I shall be luxuriating in the outside pool at the Kempinski, drinking my Balkan loyalty money back, what a giggle eh. Have a great holiday. Booze
