Yep - got it in one!! That is half term week and the most expensive of the season generally. Bulgaria rarely manages Easter unless it is in the earlier part of March so those restricted to school holidays have to go then.
Last year 2003 - half term was spread over 2 weeks. This year only one week in most parts of the country and we certainly noticed the difference in Borovets. Far more children.
Also word has now got out that Bulgaria is GREAT and therefore more and more people ...
